Robert Kidd is not your usual home remodeling contractor. Growing up, his family was less than fortunate, so he had to work hard to get ahead.
From a very young age, Robert was instilled with a strong work ethic that he learned from his father. His first job after graduating in 1985 was at a roofing company, making $5 an hour. Robert was excited and proud of his first $350 paycheck for a full week of hard work. However, he knew he wanted to do more in life.
After several years as an apprentice, Robert started a business as a subcontractor, handling installation services for other contractors. After experiencing multiple situations where shady contractors did not pay their bills, Robert decided he would only work for himself and deliver quality services to all his customers.
One of Robert’s brothers, Thomas, owned and operated a successful window and siding company in Euclid, Ohio. Thomas took Robert under his wing and taught him a great motto and three simple rules to follow.
To succeed in a home improvement business, you must deliver great customer care and service.
Robert worked with his brother and mentor until Thomas’ untimely passing in 2001.
Robert started a new family business in 2005 and named it “Biltmore,” to convey a strong message of quality and experience. After registering the name with the state, he moved the business to his current home community in Canton, Ohio. Biltmore has been serving Northeast Ohio residents with trustworthy, skilled home exterior contracting services ever since.
