Project Manager Job Summary
Biltmore Exteriors is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee our diverse portfolio of exterior home improvement projects. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in hands-on home construction and a proven track record of successful project management in the exteriors industry.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the execution of multiple exterior construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgetary constraints and quality standards, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with clients architects, subcontractors and internal teams to develop and implement project plans, incorporating detailed strategies for efficient resource allocation and risk mitigation.
Conduct comprehensive on-site assessments and evaluations, leveraging expertise in home construction to provide insightful recommendations and solutions that align with client expectations and industry best practices.
Oversee and coordinate the activities of the project team, including carpenters, contractors and other professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages productivity, creativity and continuous improvement.
Monitor project progress, identify potential challenges and proactively implement effective resolutions to ensure seamless project delivery and the achievement of predetermined milestones and objectives.
Maintain meticulous documentation of project-related activities, including budgets, timelines and any modifications or alterations, ensuring accurate and transparent reporting for internal stakeholders and clients.
Review incoming jobs and approve them for scheduling.
Work closely with all laborers, sales representatives and suppliers.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in the exteriors industry, with a strong emphasis on hands-on home construction, renovation, or remodeling. Coupled with a proven track record in project management and leadership roles.
Comprehensive knowledge of exterior construction techniques, materials, codes and regulations, along with a thorough understanding of residential building systems and structures.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results within established timelines and budgetary parameters.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members to achieve project objectives and foster positive, long-lasting relationships.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, coupled with the ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends, to streamline project workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
